Leapfrog Musical Table – Musical Learning for your Baby

The Leapfrog Musical Table is designed for 6 months to three year olds. This is an educational toy jam-packed with activities to keep your baby and toddler smiling for hours. I’ll cover what I like and didn’t about this learning toy.

It’s a proven fact we learn best when having fun, and the folks at Leapfrog took this to heart when developing their Learn and Groove Music Table.

With the detachable legs, sturdy design, and lots of stuff to push, pull, turn, and open, and all with songs, melodies, lights, and instrument sounds, this became the first toy my toddler headed to each day. This learning toy has a variety of music so it is not as annoying as many other musical play toys.

When I was researching educational toys I found the Leapfrog musical table consistently preferred over the Fisher Price model on forums and product reviews. When I purchased it I wasn’t disappointed either.

• Legs can be detached for babies so it becomes a floor toy and as they grow reattached to develop standing abilities.

• Tons of spin gauges, push objects, and sound making activities to help your toddlers develop their fine motor movement skills.

• With simple flip of a switch, the songs and games change from English to Spanish, offering a great introduction to foreign-language learning.

There isn't much to dislike about the Leapfrog Learn and Groove Musical Table, however no surpises... 

• When the legs are on it can be used as a climbing or stepping toy. To be fair this is a common problem with all types of toddler table toys.

• Some assembly is required - but its not a grill and no fingers were hurt in assembling it.

• My pet peeve - requires 3 AA batteries not included.
